You will first notice that there are three main armies who are trying to obtain the Mana Stones and the Mana Sword. Each character will be on a quest for the Mana Sword for different reasons, and your goal is to stop the evil in the world that is trying to awaken the eight Mana Beasts from the Mana Stones to conquer the world. This game is very easy to follow, having a very similar but harder battle mode to Secret of Mana. You can tell this by the very different looking world map. There are three different endings of the game.Īs the sequel to Secret of Mana, this game is actually a prequel for Secret of Mana, occuring thousands of years beforehand. In each storyline you will have to face the same early bosses and Mana Beasts, but at the end the story will change. The character you first choose will determine the storyline as described further in the bosses section. In this adventure game, you have the choice of choosing three characters out of six before you begin.
